At a recent Lake Havasu City Council meeting, Michael Baker International presented various options for bridge designs and roadway connections.
Each proposed bridge features three lanes, a multi-use path on one side, and a walking path on the other. The draft feasibility study and selection of the preferred design and road connections are anticipated by the end of the month.
The cost estimates for each proposed option do not include the cost of the roadway.
Option One
A ‘three-span spliced wide flange girder’ would cost an estimated $12.5 to $16 million.
Option Two
A ‘three-span spliced wide flange girder’ would cost an estimated $12.5 to $16.5 million.
Option Three
A ‘three-span spliced tub girder’ would cost an estimated $13 to $16.5 million.
